Warning: there can be instances of sticker shock. Playoff ticket purchasers may be thinking, “This is the price for one game?” For better or for worse, this will always be the case and prices will continue to rise as years go by.

The cost of playoff tickets generally depends on several factors, such as the teams playing, the location of the game, the seating section, and the stage of the playoffs. For example, World Series tickets are typically more expensive than Division Series or League Championship Series tickets.

In general, you can expect MLB playoff ticket prices to potentially range anywhere from around $100 for less in-demand games in poorer seats, to several thousand dollars for premium seats at high-demand games, such as World Series games involving popular teams.
